Who is Kris?

I'm Kris Haamer, an Estonian interaction designer, developer, researcher, and worldbuilder moving between Tallinn and Taiwan. I build interfaces, investigate how technology changes everyday life, and use AI as part of the material without outsourcing taste, responsibility, or the human point of view.

This page is my personal directory. It is intentionally less polished than the rest of HAAM. Think of it as a desk drawer, a map, and a tiny independent internet station.

Things I believe about the web

  1. The product is the user experience.
  2. A website can be useful and still have a soul.
  3. Firsthand field notes beat recycled summaries.
  4. AI should increase human agency, not hide who did the work.
  5. Fast, accessible, understandable interfaces are a form of respect.
  6. The internet should contain more personal rooms and fewer identical lobbies.
