Film is where I learned to look for the human story inside every system.
I love film because it makes ideas tangible through people, places, rhythm, tension, and change. That way of seeing runs through HAAM. Many projects begin with character and narrative, even when the final form is a platform, an exhibition, a campaign, or an interactive product.

01The biggest film project I ever attempted, and failed to finish. Originally called Tomé, I later renamed it Wê, meaning eyes in Forro, the local language of São Tomé. The film was conceived as a journey through paintings: entering each painting would open another narrative and another point of view, moving through different perspectives on life in São Tomé and changing whose eyes the islands were seen through.
